A commonly occurring sexually transmitted disease caused by HSV-2 virus. Initial symptoms include fever, headache, or other flu-like conditions. Early diagnosis and quick initiation of appropriate treatment plan can speed up the healing process and reduce pain due to sores.
Primary symptoms of this contagious infection are herpetic sores (painful blisters or ulcers). These fluid-filled bumps occur around the mouth and genitals, and can break open and ooze fluid or bleed causing more pain.
Treatment: Antiviral drugs can help reduce the outbreaks, but cannot guarantee the cure of herpes simplex viruses.
Enlist your symptoms and send us images (optional) so that our medical practitioners can better evaluate your condition, and prescribe the right medication.
